Rated to 1,100 lb per pair and tested to the ASTM commercial standard — a 6x safety factor — loaded as a pair to over 6,600 lb static and through ten consecutive 600 lb drops from 18 inches. The catch runs one flat section and two angled sections, all lined in UHMW with counter-sunk screws so nothing metal touches the bar, and the angles direct a failed lift away from the athlete. The arms load in from the side of the rack, which helps the pins take dropped loads and makes height changes fast, while a knurled stainless-steel magnetic pin with a ball detent adds a secondary lock once they are set.
